    We ran 75 B2B SaaS queries through ChatGPT, = Perplexity, and Gemini this week. Here's what stood out:

    Patt= ern: Definitional intros are winning.

    Content that opens with a = clear, confident definition=E2=80=94"X is Y"=E2=80=94got cited 3x= more often than content that opened with context-setting or storytelling. =

    Example that got pulled:

    The takeaway: LLMs are scanning for quotable authority= . They want the answer in the first 50 words=E2=80=94not buried after three= paragraphs of scene-setting.

    Also noticed:

    • Listicles with clear H2 structure s= till get cited heavily for "how to" queries

    • FAQ schema is showing up in AI answers m= ore than regular content for comparison queries

    • Perplexity is pulling from newer content than = ChatGPT (freshness seems weighted higher)
