 Are you interested in learning about intellectual property (IP) basics? Join us for an interactive session and hear from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). In this workshop, you will be provided with an overview of the different types of IP (patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights) and learn the importance of understanding each type for your business.

 This session is intended for entrepreneurs, inventors, and small business owners who want to learn the basics of intellectual property and how it can help protect their business ideas, products, brands, and creative work.

 Reynaldo D. Vasquez, Regional Outreach Officer, USPTO Southwest Office 
  
 Reynaldo Vasquez leads stakeholder engagement, outreach, IP education, and talent development initiatives across Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. He brings extensive federal service experience with the SBA, ICE, and the U.S. Army/National Guard, along with a background in business management, entrepreneurship development, real estate management, and commercial and international trade financing.
